Gil is a magical mosaic of Tunesian, Italian and French origin. Growing up in a small village with more cows than citizens in La Grande Nation among the bustle of four siblings, they quickly discovered Gil’s passion for working with people.
Despite being rather timid by nature Gil delved into the theories of social work yet ended up dedicating time to media design. This, however, did not fulfil Gil in the long term.
Venturing out once more, the perfect fusion was found: designing art on people. After a rough learning process alongside a blind Vietnamese master, a nail artist, an alien, and a God realised Maurician guy, Gil has found the path and has been creating some very own art designs on skin since 2012.
In the midst of this peculiar journey, Gil also realized that they never stopped drawing and illustrating. It's become a bit of an obsession, really – Gil has found themself taking on more and more illustration jobs, and having more fun with it than an octopus at a paintball game! So, here we are, a tattoo artist with an ever-growing love for the pen and paper, creating illustration in all its weird and wonderful forms.
